Overview

Advantage International Bank Corp. (AIBC) was incorporated under the name Advantage International Bank Corp. on November 16, 2015, received its license on December 23, 2015, and commenced operations in February 2016. It is licensed as an International Financial Entity (“IFE”) under Puerto Rico’s International Financial Center Regulatory Act 273 of September 25, 2012 (“Act 273”). As an IFE, AIBC is authorized by its regulator to take deposits, buy and sell securities, act as fiduciary in the administration of financial assets and provide management and other financial services (defined as generally accepted in the banking industry) to authorized international financial institutions.

AIBC was established to serve the banking needs of Advantage Insurance and its clients, as well as other international insurers and customers operating under the Puerto Rico International Insurance Center. In accordance with law, AIBC does not offer any services to individuals who are Puerto Rico residents or Puerto Rico-based businesses (“Act 273”), other than those operating under Act 399 of the Insurance Code of Puerto Rico.

AIBC’s mission is to provide the highest quality banking and compliance services to its affiliates and their customers, and in the future to provide similar services to unaffiliated insurance companies operating in Puerto Rico’s International Insurance Center.

Our Strengths

FOCUS ON INSURANCE COMPANIES

AIBC offers a streamlined suite of products and services to fill the basic cash and investment custody needs of insurance-related and other clients. AIBC’s target market is clients in common with Advantage Insurance, Advantage Insurance on behalf of its clients and individual operating subsidiaries of Advantage Insurance. In the future, AIBC plans to offer these same products and services to unaffiliated insurance companies operating from Puerto Rico’s International Insurance Center. Puerto Rico’s International Insurance Center and to clients of those unaffiliated companies.
